The Marblehead Housing Authority was established in 1948 under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 121B. The mission of the Marblehead Housing Authority is to provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing opportunities to the Town of Marblehead, thereby improving the quality of life for low income families, those with disabilities, and the elderly on fixed incomes.
The Marblehead Housing Authority currently administers three housing programs, and manages 307 units of state-aided public housing.
The primary goal of the Marblehead Housing Authority is to continue to provide housing for these low-income households, while maintain high standards of property management, fiscal management and maintenance delivery.
